April 4. I got an email from Lorraine saying she'd seen a kit for the first time. Last year's first sightings was almost exactly a year ago...... April 6. There was the kit at the same den. Mom was nowhere in the area, and never showed up. April 7. The mother showed up shortly after I arrived, and kit settled down to nurse. April 11. Kit explores the new entrance to the den, but Mom is not to be seen. April 15. A distraction at the den has captured the attention of mother and kit.
