January 6, 2002, Owl pellets found at Dunback Meadow. The small ones in
the center were found under a tree with a Northern Saw-whet Owl in it.
The two larger ones on the right were found just downhill of this tree.
They seem really large for Saw-whet. The object on the left is a cat toy. |
