Odd location for mockingbird nest.
On June 30 I was climbing Horn Pond Mountain looking for butterflies when I noticed a lump at the corner of the framework of one of the power line towers.

Using my binoculars it certainly looked like a nest, but whose?

I was surprised to see a mockingbird come in for a delivery (f you look carefully you can see the gaping bill of a couple of chicks.

Of course, it didn't much like me sitting there photographing it, and being a mockingbird, it let me know.
