We drove down this road that ended up being dead end, with no way to exit except to turn around in someone's driveway. They had a pen of chickens in the yard, but this guy wasn't in the pen at all. I snapped one photo, and as I was trying to focus for a second there was a thud on the car 
and I looked out the windshield to see this. 
It was an unusual silvery color - 
The homeowner seemed to know the bird, and tried to convince it to leave the roof of the car, so we asked if they owned the bird. No, it was "wild." 
The homeowners efforts to shoo it off the car were useless, and it started foraging for food. 
When I suggested it abandon its perch it gave me the evil eye 
And finally jumped down as I snapped a final shot. |
